HK holiday

8 06 2008

At the end of July I will be visiting Hong Kong with my family. As well as it being a holiday it is also an opportunity get our Hong Kong ID sorted out and do to a lot of shopping.

The Hong Kong ID allows me to live and work in Hong Kong in the future. Not something I have really thought about as I have always thought I would live in the UK.

I am really looking forward to shopping in Hong Kong mainly because most things there are cheap. I love HK fashion and probably wouldn’t waste anytime as soon as I get there. Before I go on my crazy clothes hunt I would like to visit the electronics department. I would really like to get a new camera lens for my Canon 40D. At the moment I am still using a Canon 18-55mm Kit Lens, which is great for general purpose but I would like to move on to Macro Photography soon. I’ve been reading reviews for the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens but the price is a little high. I am hoping I can find it for cheaper in HK.

Trickster Online

.

Currently I’m distracting myself with an online MMORPG called Trickster Online (aka TO). The graphics was actually what first attracted me to this game. I think I’ve been playing this for a few months now. It is unusual for me to be playing something for so long. There is some sort of story to this game but after a while I sort of lost the plot (this usually happens after a while). I think this is a fairly new game, the story updates are slow but they update some sort of mini event every two weeks to keep players happy. After you get you about level 100 there isn’t all that much left to do except PvP (Player vs Player) and GvG (Guild vs Guild). I somehow managed to grind my Cat over level 200 and now working on my level 100 Lion. If I wasn’t the fact that I was stoopid enough to spend real money in this game I would have quit ages ago. I can’t really say I regretted that though. I paid money and I got my entertainment. Equivalent exchange.
