Younha links FIXED

29 12 2008

Took a while but I’ve finally fixed all the dead links on the page, I’ve added a lil extra more too ^^

It’s really annoying to actually upload it one by one and I’m pretty sure a lot of people prefer to download the whole album.. but the reason I break it apart is so that people don’t have to take on what they already have and it also lets people preview the song before actually downloading it.

Say.. why don’t I have a poll. This way people can tell me how they would prefer it without having to actually post.

Updates

5 11 2008

As some people may have already noticed, the download section needs some major updating.. as well as other areas.. -looks away-

I’m working on that.

I’ve uploaded some music in that section today but if any of the links are dead, please tell me, I shall revive it as soon as possible.

Back to school

14 09 2008

I wonders how many people have titled their blog this?

It must have been a month since I came back from my holiday but I was too lazy to write. Not that I really had much to do anyway..

In less than 12 hours, I believe, I would be preparing myself for college. I seriously need a new belt. Normally I would look forward to this, because I am weird like that.. but I feel really scared and nervous. My grades were not what I had expected and I seriously hope I manage to enrol into the course I want to do. Better yet I hope I can retake my exam piece for my Photography. (Which reminds me, I still haven’t had a play with my new lens yet)

People around me always asks me what I would do for a living in the future. People are nosy by nature. I cannot say I am any different but I would rather not pry into other people’s business. Even if you know, what are you doing to do? Compare it to your own or child’s life?

I’m not much of a Philosopher and I find it difficult to put my thoughts in forms of words. However if you force a child or adult to say something they do not know it could change their path completely. Adults, children, people are curious. It is human nature. What would happen in the future. People start asking you from a young age, “what do you want to become when you are older? A doctor or a lawyer?”

At the age of 14, you must have some idea what you want to become for the rest of your life. The school makes us choose subjects we study for the next 2 years that may relate to what you want to do when you’re older.

At the age of 16 you need to know what you aspire to be and what grades and subject courses needed to achieve it.

At 18, university, you are set for life. You MUST know what you want to be.

Of course not everybody experiences this.. I had a friend who tried to rebel this fate pressed on to him by his parents. He quit is school, spends his time wondering round places and craves the word “Freedom”

But just how are you free? I don’t believe I’m depressed or anything, but freedom does not exist in my mind. We are forever confined.

Relationships with family, friends or love ones ties us down one way or another. Even if you are completely alone, the world confines you. (More like you clinging onto it)

Putting confinement in more prettier words, we can call in connections or networks. In ugly words it is also a chain or a shackle. We these are nice ties we can gain things but when the ties go bad, it will do nothing more than tie you down.

Wow.. my back to school post doesn’t seem to contain much about school..

I apologise if I crushed anyone’s hopes and dreams about “Freedom” or offended anyone with my rambling.

HK holiday

8 06 2008

At the end of July I will be visiting Hong Kong with my family. As well as it being a holiday it is also an opportunity get our Hong Kong ID sorted out and do to a lot of shopping.

The Hong Kong ID allows me to live and work in Hong Kong in the future. Not something I have really thought about as I have always thought I would live in the UK.

I am really looking forward to shopping in Hong Kong mainly because most things there are cheap. I love HK fashion and probably wouldn’t waste anytime as soon as I get there. Before I go on my crazy clothes hunt I would like to visit the electronics department. I would really like to get a new camera lens for my Canon 40D. At the moment I am still using a Canon 18-55mm Kit Lens, which is great for general purpose but I would like to move on to Macro Photography soon. I’ve been reading reviews for the Canon EF 100mm f/2.8 Macro USM Lens but the price is a little high. I am hoping I can find it for cheaper in HK.
